Particulars of the Ball
The October Moon Grand Ball will encompass the period from 1600 to 1830. You are encouraged to wear a costume of this time period, however modern evening attire will be accepted.
Mike White will be your expert guide through the three hour afternoon teaching session enhanced by live music. All of the intermediate and difficult dances will be taught in the afternoon session so that you may enjoy your dancing to its fullest. Mike White will also be your Dance Master for the October Moon Grand Ball. Mike will present a mix of dances that are mostly intermediate level, with a few that are easy and a few that are more complicated. Please remember that only a walk through and prompting will be provided during the evening.
Your evening’s dance will be enhanced by the accomplished playing of the Queen City English Country Dance Band from Cincinnati.
It is recommended that inexperienced dancers obtain instruction from a period dance group in their area. For a partial listing, please see the Assistance page.

Alcohol is NOT ALLOWED in the Masonic Temple.
Price: $25 per person by September 27th.
$35 per person at the door.
